Construction Manager - Internals

Bridgestone Group are working with a leading construction contractor who are looking to recruit an Internals Construction Manager for a large scale high rise residential project in Reading. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the project delivery in a safe, timely and efficient manner, whilst delivering exceptional levels of customer service.

Responsibilities

* Reporting in to the Project Manager and overseeing management management of the site management team and subcontractors

* Establish quality standards in line with project specifications

* Develop and maintain project programmes to ensure operational control and delivery

* Eliminate waste and control costs to deliver the works in an economic manner

* Organisation of supply chain to streamline delivery of works

* Maintain highest levels of Health & Safety

* Adopt principles of the Considerate Constructor's Scheme

* Production of risk assessments, method statements, tool box talks

* Support the management of plant and equipment

Experience

* 5-10 years in Construction Management

* Ability to understand and work from construction drawings

* Sub-Contract Management

* High-rise residential projects in excess of £20M value

* SHE Systems and procedure knowledge and experience

Qualifications

* BSc Construction Management or HND Project & Construction Management

* 5 day CITB Site Manager

* 1st Aid Certificate

* Asbestos Awareness

* Scaffold Awareness

Our client will consider applicants looking for full time, fixed term or freelance contracts. The initial project in Reading has a July start date and will run for 18 months, with follow on projects along the M4 corridor.
