Our client, a leading manufacturer has an exciting opening for a Quality Supervisor to join their organisation based in Bristol. Hours of work are 8.30 am to 5 pm Monday to Thursday and 4.30 pm finish on a Friday, working 40 hours per week.
As the Quality Supervisor, you will be:
Monitoring and measuring the output of key processes against defined targets to meet the expectations of internal & customer requirements
Implementing continuous improvement to improve production
Providing support to the warehouse, sales, and shipping departments for quality-related issues
Undertaking continuous improvement activities as directed by the Group Quality Manager
Working closely with your Manager to discuss results
Carrying out other additional duties whilst working really closely with the Shop Floor
As the Quality Supervisor, you will have:
Previous experience working within a similar position, assisting in carrying out internal audits
Previous experience within the Aerospace or defence industry, however, this is not essential
Knowledge of ISO9001:2015 and AS9100
Experience in using quality-related tools such as 5 why, FMEA or DMAIC
An understanding and experience of 8D problem resolution tools
A confident Microsoft Excel user, experienced in producing reports
We would also love to hear from you if you have experience in any of the following: Quality Control Manager, Quality Engineer, Quality Assurance Manager, Quality Assurance Supervisor, Quality Assurance Team Leader, Quality Assurance Specialist or have previously worked in a similar position
As the Quality Supervisor, you will receive a salary of £30,000 per annum with excellent benefits
