Conceptual Creative (Art Director)

Job Description

Reporting to our Creative Director, we are looking for a Conceptual Creative (Art Director) to join our team and thrive as a conceptual creative. You will create campaign ideas as a fast social-first thinker. You are a conceptually minded creative who will ideate based on cultural trends in a 'newsroom' style 'brainstorm'. You're literate in social platforms for execution and are passionate about and literate in social.
Responsibilities:
Create fast out-of-the-box ideas, concepting everything from brand campaigns, to a content series, to a clever reactive post.
Stay up to date on all the visual trends in social (static and motion) and always ensure you stay at the forefront as they evolve and change.
Art direct your work to the point of being an accomplished visual do-er -,
Analyze a brief and spin insightful ideas daily, bringing your own creative insights.
Work between big campaign ideas and tactical projects.
Strategize and envision across a full suite of social content: static assets, short and longform video (Reels, TikTok and longer scripted pieces), GIPHY stickers, GIFs, memes.
Build relationships with your creative leads (and clients) through excellent work.
Create and develop implementations that produce fame for clients
Create work that cuts through the clutter in culture and sets hearts and feeds on fire.
Be a team player by brainstorming and sparring with clients and hold your own in the best interest of the work and the goals of the brief.
In meetings, with or without clients, you will think on your feet and produce ideas on the spot and explain your ideas with conviction and mock up high-level visuals.
Review work with your Creative Director, Creative VP and ECD - and keeping them informed along the journey - taking their feedback onboard and actioning their direction across the team.
