Semi-Senior to Senior Accountant

We are actively recruiting into a career opportunity with an accountancy firm in Cambridge, who are looking for a Practice Accountant, with the role open from a Semi-Senior Accountant through to Senior Accountant level, joining this ICAEW registered firm of Chartered Accountants. They are a well-respected practice, offering accounting and taxation advice to a wide variety of clients.

Requirements:

The firm are looking for 1 or 2 people to join their team.

Applicants must have experience of working in an accountancy practice and the firm can support study for those studying AAT / ATT or working towards ACCA / ACA. They do offer study support too.

Responsibilities:

The role would include but not be exclusive to:

Bookkeeping

VAT Returns

Accounts preparation right from receiving records to draft stage

Auditing (flexible, this can be included or not, dependent on your preference and experience)

Personal Tax

Corporation Tax

Very occasional administrative support
