We are currently looking for a Design Manager to join us in Lytham on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role

As a Design Manager, you will advise and assist our residential team in the management and planning activities for our first-class properties.

Providing legal and technical advice and actioning a range of queries, you will deal with site construction issues and have input to land viabilities.

You will also undertake the production, review and approval of Site layouts, house type working drawings, construction details, Deed Plans and Master Deeds.

Reviewing technical and legal reports, you will assist in the review of Management Charges, providing advice to others, including Senior Management.

Additionally, you will:

- Liaise with Consultants, Contractors, Local Authority and Planning Officers
- Prepare contract documents
- Produce and issue drawings
- Liaise and co-ordinate with other regional technical departments to deliver improvements and efficiencies in shared design solutions
- Update our senior management team on house type and detail changes
- Assist with the preparation of health and safety documentation
- Prepare and collate details for the discharge of planning conditions

About You

To be considered as a Design Manager, you will need:

- AutoCAD experience
- The ability to review technical reports and identify abnormal constraints
- The ability to identify cost effective solutions and liaise with relevant statutory bodies to achieve approval
- The ability to provide accurate and detailed reports
- Good knowledge of current building regulations and NHBC Standards
- Good organisation and communication skills
