Accounts Assistant

Isca Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a highly successful business at their office in Crediton. Working as part of a small friendly accounting team, the Accounts Assistant will be supporting the team to ensure a timely and effective finance function. This is a varied and hands-on finance role with duties including:

* Maintaining the purchase and sales ledgers

* Processing invoices and expenses

* Reconciliations of accounts, bank statements and income

* Identifying and resolving any discrepancies

* Maintaining financial spreadsheets such as bank income

* Chasing outstanding invoices

* Supporting the month end accounting duties

Accounts Assistant - The Rewards:

Salary: £26,000pa - £28,000pa depending on experience/qualifications

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am – 5pm
Location: Office based
Start Date: ASAP

Accounts Assistant - The Person:

This role will suit a proactive accounts assistant, with recent experience of reconciliations, purchase and sales ledger.

You’ll possess strong analytical skills, high attention to detail and be proficient in Excel.

A confident communicator, you will be a team player and enjoy working in a collaborative manner with colleagues at all levels in the business.

You’ll be able to plan and prioritise own work, able to work unsupervised, and be keen to learn and to take on new challenges as the business grows.
