This role primarily involves office-based work and possibly an occasional site visit.
The Role
As an Electrical Estimator your duties will include:
* Dealing with clients in a professional manner
* Preparing electrical estimates from the back of engineer’s job reports.
* Obtain competitive and accurate quotations from electrical wholesalers
* Continuous communication with our Electricians to ensure smooth running of works.
* Competent when dealing with enquiries and requests
* Prepare detailed and accurate electrical estimates for commercial and industrial Works.
* Collaborate with our project team to ensure estimates align with project requirements.
* Carrying out accurate take off's from drawings and specifications
* Maintain and update a database of historical cost data for future reference
* Have a good understanding of products
Skills & Qualifications:
In addition to having the above experience you will also ideally have:
* 3+ years of experience in a similar role
* Electrical qualifications advantageous
* Ability to handle multiple assignments at once
* Motivated and enthusiastic
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* IT literate
* Have a full UK driving licence
* Excellent time management skills
* Good communication skills
