Job Title: SHE Manager
Location: Radway Green, Cheshire

Salary: £55,000 - £62,000 (depending on experience)

What you'll be doing:

Leading on all SHE matters, providing relevant, timely, and competent SHE advice.
Implementing the Land UK SHE Policy and supporting SHE Management System together with the deployment of the Land UK SHE objectives and targets.
Liaising and influencing key stakeholders to ensure that the strategic SHE objectives are being delivered.
Ensuring the site meets all legal and Land UK SHE requirements, including all the requirements of the COMAH Regulations, such as the submission of the Safety Report, establishment of the Major Accident Prevention Policy (MAPP), and meeting any additional requirements of the Competent Authority.
Investigating and reporting incidents in accordance with Land UK, regulatory, and customer requirements - this may include being the assigned lead investigator for significant incidents at other sites.
Providing reports and data interpretation to Land UK and the wider BAE Systems community, as required/directed, on all aspects of site SHE performance and programme delivery.
Providing assurance that the site is compliant with Operational Framework and the Land UK OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001 (safety), ISO 14001 (environment), ISO 50001 (energy) certifications.Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

Degree in Safety & Health and/or hold a recognised equivalent Safety and Health Management qualification e.g., NEBOSH diploma.
Understanding and experience of COMAH.
Experience leading, supporting, and improving the performance of a business.Desirable:

Experience within a Defence environment.
High volume manufacturing background.Benefits:

Our Safety, Health and Environmental Team:

As a SHE Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of all SHE activities across our upper tier CoMAH (Control of Major Accidents and Hazards) site. Being a subject matter expert, you will manage and develop a team of SHE professionals and have the chance to use your safety qualifications and experience to develop yourself and others across our function.
