Position Overview: 
As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our finance department. You will be responsible for managing accounts receivable transactions, maintaining accurate records, and communicating effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Process accounts receivable transactions promptly and accurately
Generate and send out invoices to customers
Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve discrepancies
Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy
Monitor customer accounts for delayed or missed payments
Communicate with customers to address billing inquiries and resolve payment issues
Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate invoicing
Assist with month-end closing activities as needed
Provide support to the finance team on various projects and initiatives
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Proven experience in accounts receivable or related role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
