Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor / Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester.
Salary / Benefits £24k - £36k + Training + Benefits

We are working with a professional and hard-working provider of Water Hygiene / Legionella services across Social Housing, Healthcare, Industrial, Commercial, and Educational sites. They are now looking to take on a City and Guilds / WMSoc qualified and hard-working Legionella Risk Assessor / Water Hygiene Engineer to cover the North West region. You will have extensive experience carrying out risk assessments, using detailed and site-specific schematic drawings alongside carrying out L8 compliance duties e.g., water sampling, temperature monitoring and closed system sampling, analysis, and dosing.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Oldham, Manchester, Rochdale, Bury, Bolton, Wigan, St Helens, Liverpool, Warrington, Macclesfield, Chester, Crewe, Buxton, Huddersfield, Leeds, Bradford, Keighley, Wakefield.

Experience & Qualifications:
" Holding an industry recognised qualification is essential e.g., City and Guilds / WMSoc in Legionella Risk Assessment.
" Experience working for a reputable Water Hygiene / Legionella company, working hands on as a risk assessor and / or engineer.
" Will have excellent knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Good IT skills.
" Excellent time management and organisational skills.

The Role:
" Carrying out legionella risk assessments on hot and cold-water systems.
" Water sampling.
" Temperature monitoring.
" TMV servicing and failsafe servicing.
" Filling out onsite logbooks upon completion of work / creating legionella reports.
" Providing clients with detailed legionella management reports based on site findings, ensuring that any actions required are implemented.
" CWST cleans and descales.
" Calorifier flushing.
" Producing and working from schematic drawings.
" Closed system sampling and analysis.
" Dosing of closed systems.
