About the role:

Mission Critical Services Onshore (BMCSO), a leading provider of mission-critical helicopter services to the air ambulance, police and offshore sectors. BMCSO provides world-class operations to our customers helping them to save lives and protect communities every day.

Main Tasks:

The position available is for a Regionally based Touring pilot to predominantly provide support to our operations in the North, Midlands and south of England. This position offers varied and challenging flying across a range of disciplines including HEMS and NVIS operations. The successful candidate will be required to maintain the highest standards of professional expertise and safety throughout the conduct of this challenging role.

What do I need to do the role?

Minimum requirements for candidates for this position are:

• Hold a UK ATPL(H) or CPL(H) + IR

• Fluent English, Driving License, Passport, Right to Work in the UK.

Experience required:

Either:

* 1000 hours pilot in command of aircraft of which 500 hours is pilot in command on twin turbine helicopters; or

* 1000 hours as co-pilot in HEMS/Police operations of which 500 hours is as pilot in command under supervision and 100 hours pilot in command of twin turbine helicopters.

* 2000 hours minimum total helicopter experience.

* 500 hours operating experience in twin turbine helicopters in an operational environment similar to the intended operation.

* 20 hours VFR at night as pilot in command.

Candidates would also ideally:

• Have recent multi engine experience

• Be qualified and instrument rated on the EC135 and EC145.

• Have current or recent HEMS experience.

• Have experience of NVIS operations.
