Purchasing Team Leader

This is a superb opportunity for Purchasing Team Leader to join the business through this rapid period of growth. The business is looking for a driven and motivated Purchasing Team Leader to support the team through these exciting times.

The Role
* Be an ambassador for the new Procurement function
* Build and maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders
* Create value for the company through Procurement excellence
* Lead the Purchasing team to ensure high performance of the entire Supply Chain
* Ensure all Purchasing transactions are compliant with internal controls
* Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities in the Supply Chain
* Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best possible conditions
* Ensure all procurement activities are conducted in accordance with established procedures, local laws and regulations and direction from Senior Management
The Person
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar position
* Previous experience in a Procurement / Supply Chain role is essential
* Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential
* Procurement or Supply/Chain related qualification such as CIPS would be advantageous
* Basic knowledge of MS Office i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word etc
* Experience with any major ERP system is required
* Able to work autonomously on processes with agreed service levels
* Organised and able to organise others
* Proven stakeholder management skills
* Developed analytical skills
