At HR Services EMEA in our Service Hub Berlin, we stand for comprehensive HR service delivery throughout the region Europe, Middle East & Africa. We are currently looking for a candidate Talent Acquisition Specialist for the following African countries: South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, and Zambia. As BASF's internal service provider, we rely on more than ten years of high-quality service delivery, and you play an important role in shaping the new HR Services delivery model for our group companies. To achieve this, you will focus on innovative and digital solutions to increase efficiency and encourage the best practice sharing amongst our HR teams.

  • You are the main point of contact and provide professional recruitment services to hiring managers, local HR stakeholders and candidates throughout the entire recruitment process.

  • You provide high-quality and proactive sourcing as well as a preselection of candidate profiles for different BASF divisions based in Africa.

  • In addition, you efficiently manage operational tasks such as coordinating interviews, conducting background checks, and others.

  • Keeping excellence in mind, you act as an advisor to the business and provide insights on best practice solutions, market trends/ competitive talent intelligence through expertise, setting clear expectations, and driving the client relationship.

  • Further, you ensure smooth coordination of the onboarding activities and provide monthly reporting and statistics to businesses on recruitment and exits.

  • You also contribute to digitalization projects and process improvement; actively participate in knowledge management, and share best practices.

  • Motivated, organized and reliable, you have a strong interest in recruitment and have 3+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Alongside a strong and proactive customer-oriented approach, you adapt easily to a fast-changing work environment and take personal initiatives
  • Being a strong team player, you are able to actively engage with your colleagues
  • Taking pride in your work with exceptional attention to detail you have the ability to be well-organized under pressure
  • An excellent command of English is a prerequisite, in addition to very good general communication skills
  • Experience in a talent management role is a plus
