Venatu Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced 3.5T Drivers to join our clients team in The Stockton TS18 area . The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in driving and be comfortable with handballing. This position offers a competitive rate of £11.44 per hour PAYE, allowing for accrued holidays. The Rate of pay will increase once permanent with the client.
Temp – Perm positions we have now 3 positions available at the moment:
You will pick the orders, load the van, deliver, and unload on return to the warehouse.
Midnight to 8.30am
5 over 7 on a rota basis.
We also have adhoc shifts available as well see below if you are interested in just odd days a week:
2am till finish – this shift runs 7 days a week so will be informed weekly which days of the week the client needs covering
10am – 10pm 4 on 4 off is another shift adhoc we might need covering.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a 3.5t vehicle in compliance with traffic laws and company guidelines.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle's safety.
Complete deliveries efficiently and accurately, adhering to schedules.
Assist with loading and unloading as necessary, demonstrating proficiency in handballing techniques.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a 3.5t Driver.
Valid UK driving license
Proficiency in handballing and handling heavy loads.
Strong understanding of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
