The role
Based at our clients brand new state of the art site in Greater Manchester as a Factory Planner & Stock Controller, you'll be in charge of production schedules and ingredient inventory. You'll work closely with our client’s production teams and suppliers to ensure that every batch of product is crafted with care and every ingredient is readily available when needed.
You will Develop production schedules and prioritize orders to meet customer demands while optimising production efficiency, coordinate with suppliers to procure raw materials, packaging materials, and other ingredients according to production requirements, collaborate with production teams to schedule manufacturing activities and ensure smooth production flow, plan and execute stock replenishment activities, including ordering.
The person
Our ideal candidate will have a passion for organisation and a knack for balancing competing priorities.
Experience in production planning, inventory management, or supply chain coordination, preferably in a manufacturing environment have strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyse data and make informed decisions, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams and suppliers.
Previous experience working in food manufacturing would be advantageous.
