SEND Teaching Assistant (Full-time, temporary)

£416.65 - £450 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

A small Primary School situated near Newcastle city centre are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant from September 2024. The successful candidate will be expected to support a Year 2 pupil on a 1:1 basis, offering them the additional support they need to access the Curriculum. Experience of supporting a child with ASC would be very beneficial for this role. This is a full-time, long-term role with potential to turn permanent if all goes well.

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will have:

-          Experience of supporting pupils with SEND.

-          An ability to work independently and as part of a team.

-          Excellent communication skills.

-          A calm and approachable manner.
