Territory Manager - Northern England.

£38,000/ £40, 000 per annum + uncapped OTE. Plus car package, plus benefits.

Our client are an award-winning manufacturer and service provider to millions of customers each day. They provide essential facilities equipment within Health and Safety for businesses, to protect their most vital assets - their staff.
The role of Territory Manager is key to the company’s growth success plan. As such you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering the company's strategic sales and marketing plans within your assigned exclusive territory.
Your skill set and time will require you to dedicate 50% of your time personally selling from receiving qualified leads from our impressive central marketing function – and 50% of your selling time dedicated to uncovering self-generated opportunities – this activity may come from networking with new prospect customers, referrals and existing customers -- where you will have the opportunity to ‘new sell’ / ‘up sell’ / ‘cross sell’ to such organisations within your territory.
Your overarching responsibilities may include supporting National/Facilities Management customers via the National Account Manager.

Your remit will broadly be to develop and execute territory business plans that will grow the business. You will be a strong seller, relationship builder, influencer, creative thinker, and you will above all else be driven by results.
About You;
- Ability to develop sales strategies and use performance metrics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and negotiation skills.
- Be able to close deals and overcome objections.
- Positive ‘can do’ attitude.
- Must be able to use own initiative and make decisions within a defined limit of authority
- Must be able to work automatously.
We’d also like you to have;
Knowledge within the Health and Safety and Fire Safety field would be highly desirable, but it not essential at all. Some Facilities Management experience would also be a advantage but it is by no means essential. Apply asap
