Civil Engineer Practice Leader

Position: Civil Engineer Practice Leader
Location: Murfreesboro, TN
Duration: Full-time permanent
Salary: $125,000 - $150,000 / DOE
Job Description:
The Practice Leader will oversee the project design, client communication, permitting, and management on a wide range of commercial and residential development projects. This position will be responsible for expanding the civil practice and collaborating in-house with other civil engineers, landscape architects, and land surveyors to assist our clients in developing public and private projects.
Responsibilities:
Lead business development efforts to expand practice locally
Oversee day-to-day operations of the department, including design of land development projects and managing office staff
Develop and maintain client relationships
Manage clients and the internal team to ensure all project goals and deadlines are met
Supervise project lifecycles from conception to completion
Coordinate business development with other internal departments and offices
Create and adhere to budgets, projections, and forecasting
Serve as subject matter expert in site design
Perform additional related duties as needed
Requirements:
Active PE license
10-15+ years of proven experience in site design
5+ years of previous employee management experience
Self-motivated, team-oriented individual
Strong communication skills
AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency
