Quantity Surveyor – Sheffield – Groundworks – c£50k + Car allowance
Our client is a family owned groundworks and civil engineering contractor with multiple UK offices.
They are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team due to an increase in workload, primarily performing groundworks on new build residential sites. With an already healthy turnover, they have significant growth projected in the next year.
This Quantity Surveying position is based from their office in Sheffield, working on projects on sites throughout Yorkshire. Sites range in value from £1m - £30m and constructed primarily under JCT contracts.
They are seeking a Quantity Surveyor with groundworks experience - this can have been gained by working for a groundworks sub-contractor or from managing groundworks packages for main contractors.
They are open to looking at candidates at all levels, from Junior Quantity Surveyor to Senior Quantity Surveyor so offers a broad salary banding of between £25k - £75k depending upon experience. They also offer a car allowance, and discretionary bonus.
This is hybrid working between the office and sites with one day a week from home. They also adopt flexible working practices.
