We have another excellent opportunity for a PROJECT ENGINEERING MANAGER based in West Cumbria within the nuclear industry.
DESCRIPTION OF ROLE AND PROJECT
The successful Candidate will support the Sellafield DDP Framework in Cumbria.
We require a Project Engineering Manager to take the lead on our projects in the design phase (supported by the PM). Full time for circa 18 months
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
Coordinate and manage multi-discipline engineering teams to deliver FEED and Detailed Engineering Packages
The work covers all disciplines, with the majority of work performed by Sub-Contractors. We have two projects for new buildings, demolition, decommissioning, CE&I & Mechanical Installs.
Dependant on the project size/complexity there would be a Responsible Engineer for each discipline, and the PEM would then manage that integration.
Civils is the predominant discipline, but a discipline bias is not essential.
Requires regular time at the Westlakes Office project location, 2 days per week minimum but can be discussed.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Experience of managing multidiscipline teams during the FEED and EPC stages of Nuclear sector or similar Projects.
SC Clearance required (or ability to achieve)
Sole British Nationality, British Passport Holder and not to have worked outside the UK during the past 5 years.
Expected Duration: 18 months
Relevant Engineering Degree, Chartered Engineer and/or APMP qualification preferred
