Platform Resourcing are working with Commercial vehicle dealership based in Caerphilly who are looking for a permanent Maintenance Coordinator which is essentially an Engineering Scheduler to join their expanding team.

The office is full of friendly staff who are there to support you. The company is well established, has an excellent retention rate with their staff, as well as being able to provide comprehensive training upon starting with them.

You must be able to work the following hours:

Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm

Maintenance Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities:

Controlling Engineers, managing their diaries and allocating them to jobs as required to attend breakdowns or servicing needs of customers
Prioritising urgent jobs based on customer or type of issue
Using Tracker system to understand current locations of engineers to be able to assign them jobs appropriately
Maintaining list of current jobs in workshop, jobs to be completed, jobs closed and jobs incoming
Arranging engineers to complete installations as required
Liaising with other internal teams to notify them of works booked in
Adding call out rota onto internal system for engineers as required
Ensure appropriate checks are completed before issuing jobs and during the progress of jobs
Escalate issues as they occur, keeping customer updated in regard to delays and any issues
Logging and closing down jobs after completion
Updating Internal system accurately and efficiently, noting and adding parts to incidents where necessary
Meeting KPIs, customer service level agreements and ensuring engineer's also hit their targetsMaintenance Coordinator Essential Experience:

Experience of booking or scheduling of engineers/ installers/ trades people or vehicle servicing
Excellent customer service skills, strong communicator both written and verbal
Experience of liaising with customers - confident on the telephone and able to establish customer needs
Strong data entry experience - efficient and accurate
Computer literate - strong use of Outlook and Excel
Ability to plan and organise own workload effectively
Able to work as part of a teamPrivacy and General Data Protection Policy
