Management Accountant (Maternity Cover)

Management Accountant (Maternity Cover) | £35,000 - £45,000 DOE | Blackburn | Broad exposure | Hybrid + Flexible

Axon Moore are pleased to be working exclusively on behalf of a rapidly-growing business as they look to recruit a Management Accountant to cover a period of maternity leave.  

A generous starting salary is on offer up to £45,000, and the business also boasts a great working culture with hybrid and flexible working also on offer (2:3 days office/home split).

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Preparation and reporting of monthly management accounts with appropriate commentary where required
Being a valued business partner with the Operations team to support and assist in making business decisions
To ensure balance sheets and cashflows are accurate and reconciled
To provide appropriate additional analysis to support the accounts and any ad hoc analysis as required
To assist in completion accounting following acquisitions
To assist in the year end audit and provide supporting schedules
To assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
Ad-hoc tasks
Required Skills and Experience:

Good management accounts experience
Good IT and MS Excel skills
Great attention to detail
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organisational and multi-tasking abilities
Experience of working as part of a team
Able to quickly adapt to change
Work efficiently towards meeting deadlines
