Our client, a leading manufacturing firm based just outside of Bury St Edmunds, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Technical Sales Executive to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with previous experience in manufacturing &/or engineering environments to build fantastic relationships with customers worldwide.

The ideal candidate will be multi-lingual in Dutch, French or German but this is not essential although a huge benefit due to the customer base.
Initially you will be based in the office for training on the products, so will need to be based commutable distance from Bury St Edmunds.

Your role will include:

•Reaching out to existing clients regarding upgrading or purchasing new machinery
•Delivering technical information to potential clients on the best products for their needs
•Researching new business opportunities and targeting them
•Keeping up to date with leads and following up potential sales
•Working closely with the MD to secure new business opportunities

To be considered for this role, you need to have solid sales experience and a good understanding of Engineering or Manufacturing environments but more importantly an interest in them! Due to the nature of the products, they have generally long lead times so it is important for the successful candidate to build on relationships and spin plenty of plates!

Compensation:

•Package - Circa £35,000
•21 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.
