Seasonal Gardener Driver

One of our local authority clients are currently recruiting for a Seasonal Gardener Driver. This is a temporary contract for 3 months with possible further extension based on budget and performance.

Main Purpose of Post/Job Summary

The successful post holder will help to keep public areas in the excellent condition.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Maintain a high standard of grass cutting, hedge cutting, weed killing, planting, bin emptying, litter/leaf collection, floral tribute management.

* Painting all public areas, such as gates, fences and play equipment.

* Be accountable for compliance with all relevant legislation and with local rules and regulations.

* Driving around a route ensuring all plants are kept watered and well maintained.

* Be available to cover for other colleagues in the service.

* Be accountable for the presentation, in line with policy and procedures by using appropriate plant and equipment.
