Seeking a proficient and dedicated Maintenance Engineer for an industrial manufacturing firm based in Sheffield. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing regular checks, identifying maintenance needs, completing reactive maintenance and ensuring that all machinery is in excellent operating condition.

Description
Conducting routine inspections of machinery and systems to identify any necessary maintenance or repairs.
Performing reactive and preventative maintenance tasks to keep machinery running smoothly.
Diagnosing faults and investigating equipment breakdowns.
Repairing or replacing broken or malfunctioning components.
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining a clean workspace.
Assisting in the implementation of new machinery.
Documenting maintenance and repair work for recordkeeping purposes.
Collaborating with the production team to coordinate maintenance activities.Profile
A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:
HND/ HNC Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Apprentice trained
Experience working in a similar role within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
A proactive approach to maintenance and a commitment to safety.
Knowledge of PLC faulting finding/ Programmes would be desirable.Job Offer
