About the role

As a cover supervisor at ABC Teachers, you will:

Manage Classrooms: Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring that students remain on task with their work.
Deliver Pre-Set Work: Implement pre-prepared lesson plans and provide support to students in understanding the tasks.
Maintain Discipline: Uphold a positive learning environment by managing student behaviour in accordance with school policies.
Support School Staff: Assist with administrative tasks and other duties as required by the school.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Secondary school cover supervisor you will:

Experience: Previous experience as a cover supervisor or in a similar educational role.
Education: A relevant educational background; a degree is preferred but not essential.
Skills: Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
Flexibility: Willingness to work in various schools across Newport and surrounding areas.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

Experience: Previous experience as a cover supervisor or in a similar educational role.
