We are looking to recruit a recent graduate ready to kick start their career with an excellent family owned business.

As the Junior Packaging Designer you will be ingrained within the creative process, liaising and collaborating with different members of the team. The role will include designing and estimating packaging solutions that meet and exceed the clients expectations. You will work closely with clients to completely understand what they require and make the process as seamless as possible.

Key responsibilities

Create 2D CAD drawings for timber products with cutting lists for costing and manufacturing purposes.
Create 3D renders of products for customer presentations.
Create packaging instructions for use in customer operations.
Create drawings for costing and tooling for corrugated products.
Produce customer case samples on cutting table.
Soak testing to determine board grades.
Carry out structural and safe working load calculations.

The successful individual for the Junior Packaging Designer will have excellent communication skills who can adapt to working alone or within a team. The Junior Packaging Designer will be creative, with a keen eye for detail and the want to succeed and learn.
