Group Finance Manager
Cambridgeshire
Henderson Brown is seeking a talented and experienced Group Finance Manager to join our globally recognised client. This integral position reports directly to the Head of Group Finance and plays a crucial role in internal financial reporting across the UK Group.
Key Responsibilities but not limited to
* Provide insightful performance information to the UK and overseas Executive teams on a weekly and monthly basis to support informed decision-making.
* Coordinate the UK forecast and budgeting processes, driving continuous improvements.
* Support business unit finance teams with audit, accounting, and taxation compliance.
* Implement an internal control review process, including spot-checks of key controls.
* Collaborate with the business to enhance processes and the control environment.
* Work on ad-hoc projects aimed at driving efficiencies and adding value to the wider business.
Requirements:
* Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA desirable) with at least 3 years of audit experience.
* Excellent communication skills with both internal and external customers.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively.
* Proficiency in MS Excel.
* Experience in audit management and UK statutory accounts processes.
* Experience in UK tax compliance.
