Role & Responsibilities;
• Respond quickly to customer Request for Quotations
• Liaise / communicate with suppliers and contractors to achieve best material prices, quality and lead-time.
• Communicate closely with customers to understand project requirements.
• Work as part of a team.
• Attend Internal Sales meetings.
• Liaise with other department teams when required.
Skills and Experience required;
• Previous estimating experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Technical with the ability to understand engineering drawings
• Experience working within a steel fabrication environment
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Confident with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Professional telephone manner.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft packages
• Enthusiastic.
