Purpose
We are currently looking for a Final Reviewer / De-Burring Operator who will be required to review critical features of parts following the completion of machining to ensure all products are free of burrs and debris and finished to the required standards thus ensuring the quality and successful operation of our valves.
Training will also be provided for this person to do the part marking using the prior machine.
Key Accountabilities
Work from the de-burring bench using appropriate tools necessary to removing burr.
Working to In-House and Customer specifications and procedures.
Be able to read an engineering drawing, understanding critical tolerances and required surface finishes.
Use a Borescope to view cross holes and intersection galleries.
Completion & sign off of the dimensional record sheet (ADRS) to confirm acceptability of the cross holes & galleries (free of burrs and debris).
Use of the wash tank to ensure the parts are clean.
Other manual machining experience and knowledge would be beneficial and may be required.
Maintain 5s standards and working practices within the deburring area.
Further training will be given to the successful candidate.
Expertise
The position requires a good level of dexterity, a technical understanding of the areas to be de-burred and experience of using small hand tools and techniques to bring the parts to the required quality
