At this thriving secondary school, you will have the chance to make a real impact, shaping the understanding and appreciation of history among students. We are looking for a teacher who can bring history to life, making lessons engaging, relevant, and thought-provoking.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality history lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students
Develop and implement creative and effective teaching strategies
Foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
Contribute to the development of the history curriculum
Participate in school activities, events, and professional development opportunities
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience for all studentsQualifications and Experience:
A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
Proven experience teaching history at the secondary school level
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for history
Excellent classroom management skills
