Technical Applications Manager – Coatings – Ref 2431
Home Based/Office Based and regular EMEA Travel
Our client is leading distributor of aerospace coatings, composite materials and allied products in Europe and beyond. Our Client is looking to recruit a home/office based, self-motivated, ambitious individual with proven aerospace consumables or coatings and related chemicals technical and application related experience. Working as part of the field sales and customer services team, responsible for providing desk and field based technical assistance to both customers and CSR and Sales team colleagues.
Job Description:
* Providing technical assistance by phone or by email to customers and colleagues.
* Assist in investigations of potentially faulty products.
* To help customer services identify products from product or process specifications or standards.
* To assist in the management of the Technical Library of technical data sheets, safety data sheets and other technical documentation.
* To technically support in the application of products and contribute to the approval / certification process of our Clients own brand products.
* To fully understand and have expertise in the use of non-metallic materials in industry and the related specifications and environmental legislation.
* To manage and further develop our customer product training programme and to provide in field application support to troubleshoot or support product introductions and trials.
* To assist in keeping our Client and their customers in full compliance of Health, Safety & Environmental legislation.
* To provide technical consultancy to customers on the correct product selection and use, to enhance the customer’s process for mutual advantage.
* To support the field sales team when meeting key decision makers and presenting technical proposals for the sale/purchase and use of our Clients product range.
Person Specification:
* Graduate or similar calibre or 5 years relevant professional experience.
* Understanding of specifications and regulations is desirable.
* Experienced in application, with formal training in application techniques and use of associated equipment.
* Valid driving licence and Passport
