About the Role:
Subject: Science (Physics or Chemistry specialism preferred)
Levels: General Science to KS3/4, Subject Specialism at KS5
Start Date: September 2024 (or as soon as possible)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and challenging lessons within your specialism across the age-range.
Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
Opportunities for Career Progression: For suitably qualified candidates, there is an exciting opportunity to take on additional responsibilities as either a Head of Physics or Head of Science, leading within your curriculum area.
Requirements:
A degree in Science, or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Science at GCSE (essential) and A-Level (preferred); applications from both ECTs and more experienced colleagues will both be considered.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring young minds.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
