Management Accountant

We are recruiting for a Management Accountant to join our Tamworth based client. You'll be responsible for assisting the finance department in preparing financial data for the Board and external sources on a monthly basis.

As a Management Accountant you will need to have/be:

Prior experience in preparing management accounts
Ideally be AAT or equivalent
Excellent attention to detail, be able to concentrate and prioritise your workload and self manage your time
Effective communication and organisational skills, ability to communicate at all levels throughout the business and collaborate across all departments Details:

Salary: £38, 000 - £40, 000
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday
Location: Tamworth (on site)
Duration: PermanentRole of Management Accountant:

Preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts in a timely manner
Reconciliation of control accounts/balance sheet accounts and chasing through any issues
Assist with Profit and Loss analysis and any query relating there to
Assistance with reconciling intercompany balances and loan accounts
Preparation and filing of various ONS reports
Reviewing of company credit card analysis and controls
Preparation of monthly sales data for key customers
Preparation of monthly rebate registers for the group including approving invoices for repayment to customers
Assisting with general queries and analysis work
Preparation of VAT returns and submission
Support external auditors
Additional support to accounts and credit control teams
