The role
A HSE Advisor is now required to join the team in Birmingham on a permanent basis. The proposed hours for the role are 8-4:30pm Monday-Thursday and 8-2:30pm on Fridays, but these can be quite flexible.
You will take responsibility for:
Act as the main point of contact for all site Health and Safety matters
Conduct site inspections, audits, and investigations, producing reports and statistics
Ensure implementation and enforcement of the company's statutory duties and policies
Assist driving change and improvements to the company's EHS objectives
Act as the company's expert witness as and when required
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
Minimum of an IOSH Managing Safely Certification
HSE background ideally within a logistics / manufacturing / construction / site setting however all backgrounds are considered
Good knowledge of Safety Management Systems
Be able to communicate with stakeholders of all levels effectively
Basic computer skills - Word, Excel & Data Collation
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
A NEBOSH Certification is desirable
