Construction Superintendent

Engineering Design Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Construction Superintendent to join our team. As a fully-integrated Engineering and Design-Build firm, we specialize in sustainable architectural and engineering design, BIM coordination, and construction. As a Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction site, including managing subcontractors, coordinating schedules, and ensuring project quality and safety. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with strong leadership and communication skills, who is committed to delivering high-quality construction projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
Manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and specifications
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring their adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, including owners, architects, and engineers, to ensure project progress
Oversee the procurement and delivery of construction materials and equipment
Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
Monitor and report on project progress, making adjustments as necessary to mitigate risks and ensure project success
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent in commercial construction
Strong knowledge of construction techniques and materials
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction
Proficiency in construction management software and tools
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Valid driver's license
