Senior Cost Manager

Moxie People has teamed up with a leading national consultancy in their search for an experienced Cost Manager to join their established Utilities team to work on projects based in the Cardiff area.

The role:

Cost management expertise on rail/utilities contracts within South Wales region.
To reinforce service delivery capability and promote skill capture, sharing and improvement.
Deliver the project within expected timelines and within budget.
Mentor and coach members of the team.
Safeguard delivery of Health & Safety and Quality Assurance.
Communicating project strategies, briefs, and client requirements.
Driving service delivery and technical and commercial outcomes.· Managing and mentoring junior staff members.

About you:

Degree qualified and be MRICS or MAPM qualified (or equivalent) or working towards attaining chartered status in the near future.
Experience working on utility projects.· Pre contract work, ideally with understanding of post contract too (whole lifecycle)

· experience in forecasting, change control, payments and final accounts.

· Extensive NEC experience
