Job Description
AECOM Technical Services, Inc. has multiple openings for a Civil Engineering II to be based in New York, NY.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for designing storm water drainage systems, roads, highways, and other infrastructures and performing analysis using modeling software.
Performs specific and moderate portions of a broader assignment of an experienced civil engineer.
Gather and correlate basic civil engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
Work on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple test.
Propose approach to solve new problems encountered using modifications of standard procedures or methods developed in previous assignments.
Identify discrepancies in results.
Provide guidance to entry-level engineers.
Perform work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision.
Perform all the task necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering works.
Lead civil drainage, grading, alignment, sanitary, sewer alignment design.
Perform climate resiliency and flood behavior analysis.
May telecommute.
